Kidnapper Calls Victim From CT Prison Asking Her To Rescind Protective Order, Police Say
A convicted kidnapper is accused of contacting his victim from a Connecticut prison in violation of a court order. Thomas Ibbison, age 37, was arraigned in New London Superior Court on Wednesday, Aug. 7, on charges he violated a standing criminal protective order. Connecticut State Police said Ibbison, who is serving a six-year sentence at the Cheshire Correctional Institution in Cheshire after pleaded guilty to kidnapping and witness tampering, called the victim on multiple occasions in April 2024. Drunk Driver Leads Police On Chase On I-95, Resists Arrest In Waterford
Despite numerous attempts to escape arrest, an alleged drunk driver was brought into custody by police in Waterford. The incident began on Tuesday, Feb. 14 around 9:40 p.m., when state police learned of a car driving erratically on Interstate 95 over the Gold Star Bridge in New London. Man In Pickup Truck Points Handgun At Woman On I-95, CT State Police Say
A gun-wielding man is facing charges in Connecticut after allegedly pointing a handgun at a woman while driving on I-95, State Police announced.
