A 55-year-old man faces charges after allegedly becoming drunk and belligerent at a festival in Connecticut and screaming profanities within earshot of children, police said. The incident happened in New Haven County on Saturday, Aug. 19 around 3:45 p.m., when Milford Police were alerted of a man causing a disturbance at the Oyster Fest at the Milford Public Library at 57 New Haven Ave. (Route 162). CT Man Threatens Gas Sation Employee With Knife, Police Say
A 28-year-old Connecticut man was charged with threatening after pulling a knife on a gas station employee who attempted to stop him from allegedly harassing customers. New Haven County resident Robert Gulyban, of New Haven, was detained on Wednesday, Aug. 9 at Galaxy Fuel at 180 New Haven Ave., in Milford. 5 Retailers Accused Of Selling Tobacco Products, E-Cigarettes To Minors After CT Detail
Five Connecticut businesses were caught allegedly selling tobacco and e-cigarette to minors during a compliance check. The checks took place in New Haven County on Monday, Nov. 14 in Milford. The Milford Police Department working with the state Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services Tobacco Prevention and Enforcement Program conducted unannounced compliance inspections of establishments that sell tobacco products and/or electronic cigarettes.
