A Connecticut woman has been charged with kidnapping after she allegedly went to a family member's home and took a 5-year-old girl from her bed without permission.
The incident took place in New Haven County around 12 a.m., on Sunday, May 14 in Naugatuck.
According to Naugatuck Police, Danielle Lombardi, age 41, of Naugatuck, when to a family member's home at night and took the 5-year-old girl from her bed without permission, and left in a stolen vehicle.

Assault: CT Group Home Staff Member Punches Man In Face, Police Say
A Connecticut man was charged with alleged assault after punching an intellectually disabled person in the face.
The incident took place in New Haven County on Friday, April 28, in Naugatuck.
Victor Ventura, age 29, of Waterbury, was arrested after Naugatuck Police responded to a group home for a report of a fight in progress, said the Naugatuck Police.
When officers arrived on the scene, an investigation and witness statements determined that Ventura, a staff member, had punched an intellectually disabled adult in the face, police said.

A 46-year-old Connecticut woman has turned herself in to police after allegedly being caught stealing more than $12,000 in cash deposits from Kentucky Fired Chicken where she was a manager.
New Haven County resident Iris Estella, of Waterbury, turned herself in on an active arrest warrant on Tuesday, March 14, stemming from a larceny complaint made by KFC in December 2022.
During the original investigation, officers found instances of numerous missing cash deposits beginning early November into December, totaling close to $12,000, said the Naugatuck Police.
