Firefighter Injured After 2-Alarm Blaze Breaks Out At Home In Fairfield County A firefighter was injured and a family of five displaced during a large house fire in Fairfield County. The blaze broke out in Stamford around 5 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 29 on Fairfield Avenue on the city's west side.
