Hampden County resident Thomas Boileau, of Chicopee, hit the big time on Thursday, Jan. 20, playing the  “$4,000,000 Brilliant Titanium” instant ticket game.  Boileau chose the cash option for his prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes), the lottery said. Local Man Purchases $1M Winning State Lottery Ticket At Hampden County Stop & Shop A local man has won a $1 million lottery prize after purchasing a ticket at a Stop & Shop in the region. Hampden County resident Stanley Godere, of Chicopee, claimed a Massachusetts State Lottery's "Diamond Millions" grand prize, according to an announcement from the lottery on Friday, Jan. 14. He plans to invest the money and share it with family, Massachusetts Lottery said. Godere purchased the winning ticket at the Stop & Shop, located at 1282 Springfield St. in Agawam.  The lottery said the store will receive $10,000 for its sale of the winning ticket.

William Scagliarini, of Springfield, won the prize in a Massachusetts State Lottery Keno draw that took place Saturday, Dec. 11, the lottery said. He claimed his prize on Thursday, Dec. 16. Massachusetts Lottery reported that Scagliarini purchased the ticket at Quality Mart, which is located at 1352 Allen St. in Springfield.  The business will receive a $1,200 bonus due to the sale of the winning ticket, the lottery said.

The winner, Hampden County resident Sharon Miner matched all numbers in the 9-spot game on Wednesday, Aug. 18, according to lottery officials. Miner, of Holyoke, played a $2 ticket and added the Keno Bonus for an additional $2. The Keno Bonus multiplier for this draw was 4X.
