CT Officer Seriously Injured, Hospitalized After Punch To Face A Connecticut police officer who responded to a report of a fight was seriously injured and hospitalized after being punched in the face. The incident occurred in New Haven around midnight on Saturday, June 22, in the Fair Haven area of town. 16-Year-Old CT Boy Shot To Death While Playing Basketball With Friends Police are searching for a suspect after a 16-year-old Connecticut boy was shot to death while playing basketball in the driveway of a home. The incident took place around 8:30 p.m., Monday, May 29 on Shelton Avenue in New Haven. New Haven officers responded to a report of the shooting and located Mark Mulongo, of New Haven suffering a gunshot wound, said Capt. Rose Dell, of the New Haven Police. CT Police Sgt. Fired For Off-Duty Traffic Stop In Which She Allegedly Harassed Woman A Connecticut police sergeant has been fired from her job after allegedly making a traffic stop while off-duty in a road-rage type of incident. New Haven Police Chief Karl Jacobson recommended on Friday, Aug. 26, the termination of Sgt. Shayna Kendall after an internal affairs investigation was completed and was found to have violated numerous department policies.  The investigation was reviewed by the Civilian Review Board who agreed with Jacobson’s recommendation and it ultimately went in front of the Board of Police Commissioners on Thursday, Aug. 25, who voted to terminate Kendall.…
