A road-rage shooting on Interstate 91 south shocked drivers during the afternoon commute, leaving one person injured and a Connecticut man under arrest, authorities said. Amir Wali, 23, of New Haven, was arrested following the shooting in Windsor around 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, according to Connecticut State Police. Fatal Crash: 44-Year-Old ID'd As Victim After Being Ejected From Car On CT Roadway
One person was killed after being ejected from his vehicle in an early-morning Connecticut crash. It happened just before 3 a.m. Saturday, July 20, in Hartford County on northbound I-91 in Rocky Hill. According to Connecticut State Police, a 2008 Nissan Versa was traveling near Exit 24 when it veered into the right shoulder and hit a guardrail. Moose Spotted Near CT Highway: Drivers Should Watch Out, Officials Say
State environmental officials are warning drivers to be cautious after a moose was spotted near a busy Connecticut highway exit. The warning came as the result of a sighting on Tuesday, Oct. 17, when a moose was seen in Hartford County near Exit 40 on Interstate 91 southbound in Windsor Locks, the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection announced. An iconic seafood restaurant in Connecticut has officially announced its closing date after being in business for almost 30 years. Chowder Pot of Hartford will be closing for good on Saturday, March 25, the restaurant said in a Facebook post on Monday, Feb. 13.
