Bond Lowered For CT Man Charged After Child Relative Shoots Himself With Illegal Gun: Cops
A 19-year-old man has been arraigned after a 10-year-old relative shot himself in the leg while left alone with an illegal firearm in the teenager's car, police said. Police said Jordan Cruz left the child unattended on Tuesday, April 28, in a parked car on Forest Park Drive in Farmington with the loaded weapon. A 24-year-old has been accused of displaying a firearm and pointing it at fellow motorists in Connecticut.The incident happened Friday night, Aug. 23, in Windham County. Connecticut State Police Troop D in Danielson received multiple 911 calls reporting a red-colored sedan that was being operated aggressively. Man Nabbed After Firing Gun At Playground In Bridgeport: Police
A Fairfield County man has been charged with risk of injury to a child after allegedly firing a gun near the entrance of a playground where numerous children and residents were due to warm, sunny weather. The 28-year-old was charged on Monday, May 6, for the incident in Bridgeport around 4 p.m. in the 200 block of Granfield Avenue. According to Sgt. Julio C. A Connecticut man who allegedly crashed his pickup truck and then walked home was also busted for having a pistol in the vehicle without a license. The incident took place in Hartford County around 5:15 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 11 on Route 4 in Burlington. According to Connecticut State Police, troopers responded to a report of a crash on Route 4 in the town of Burlington. Fairfield County Man Arrested For Possessing Obscene Child Pornography, Police Say
A 20-year-old Fairfield County man has been charged on a warrant for his involvement in child pornography. The arrest of Andrew Cohen, of Norwalk, took place in Norwalk on Sunday, May 15, at his home. In June of 2021, the FBI referred an investigation involving child pornography to the Norwalk Police Department Special Victims Unit.
