The Bridgeport Regional Task Force had been investigating Kevin Reese, of Bridgeport, for drug and firearm violations throughout January 2025, police said on Tuesday, Feb. 11.
On Jan. 29, Fairfield Police attempted to pull over a gray Dodge Charger, but the driver, later identified as Reese, fled from officers, police said.

Two men including an ex-convict were arrested following a major drug investigation that turned up heroin, crack coaine, a significant amount of cash, weapons, and more in Connecticut, police said.
Specialized Waterbury officers were patrolling Oak and Howard streets around noon on Feb. 4, when they spotted Riyadh Easley, 33, of Waterbury operating a 2008 Honda Ridgeline, Lt. Ryan Bessette said.
At the time, Easley had an active arrest warrant.

A Fairfield County man was busted for allegedly having several guns, including an assault rifle and semi-automatic pistol.
Anthony Hicks, age 42, of Stamford, was arrested on Friday, Jan. 18 following an investigation by the Stamford Police Department's Narcotics and Organized Crime unit.

A man and a woman were charged after police said the man was seen selling "eight balls" of crack cocaine to the woman in Connecticut.
Bashaun Faison, age 31, and 52-year-old Michele Annette Abbott, both of Torrington, were arrested on Wednesday, Sept 21, in Litchfield County, Connecticut State Police said.
