A Connecticut mansion valued at more than $4 million was destroyed by fire on Thanksgiving as a family of 20 was about to sit down to enjoy their holiday meal, authorities said.

54-Year-Old Man ID'd As Victim In Fatal Fiery Woodstock Crash
Police in Connecticut have identified the man killed in a Windham County crash last month as a 54-year-old whose truck struck a pole and caught fire, authorities said.
Craig David Laliberte, 54, of Southbridge, Massachusetts, was behind the wheel when his Ford F-350 veered off Route 198 in Woodstock, Windham County, just after 5:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30, state police said.
The truck was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived at the scene.
The Connecticut Office of the Chief Medical Examiner identified Laliberte after an autopsy, and police contacted his next of kin.

Two people in Connecticut were killed in a single-vehicle crash on Friday night, Sept. 13, after their truck lost control, hit a guardrail, and burst into flames, authorities said.
Police in New Haven County were called to Exit 87 northbound on I-95 in Groton around 9:20 p.m., Connecticut State Police said.

Francesco Pensiero, "Frank," age 51, of Stamford, admitted the 2020 robberies on Tuesday, June 4, according to Vanessa Roberts Avery, US Attorney for the District of Connecticut.

Two people were killed, and another was seriously injured during a fast-moving apartment fire.
The incident occurred in New Haven County around 6 p.m., Wednesday, April 17, at 25 Geneva Ave., in Wallingford.
