Pair Of New Assistant Principals Named At High School In Fairfield County A high school in Fairfield County is welcoming the arrival of two new assistant principals.  Both Parthena Proskinitopoulos and Nicholas Torres have been appointed as the new Assistant Principals of Weston High School, district officials announced on Friday, July 19.  Proskinitopoulos and Torres will replace Juliane Givoni and Matthew Filip, who will become the Weston school district's Director of Human Resources and return to classroom teaching, respectively.  According to school officials, Proskinitopoulos already has plenty of leadership…

Suspect Nabbed In Armed Robbery Of Several Other Minors In Fairfield, Police Say A Fairfield County juvenile has been charged with allegedly robbing several others at gunpoint. The incident took place in Fairfield around 8:10 p.m., Sunday, March 17 in the area of New Hampshire Avenue. According to Sgt. Michael Stahl of the Fairfield Police, initial reports indicated that several juveniles had been threatened at gunpoint by individuals wearing ski masks who had fled. Two Students Injured During Fairfield County School Bus Crash, Police Say Two schoolchildren were hospitalized following a school bus crash which also injured the driver in Fairfield County. It happened just after 3 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 9 in the Town of Fairfield on Mountain Laurel road near Stroll Rock Common,  First responders reported the school bus struck a tree and the bus was transporting four Fairfield School children at the time of the collision, said Fairfield PD Lt.
