Police In Fairfield County Searching For Gas Station Armed Robber
Police in Fairfield County are searching for a man who allegedly robbed a Shell gas station at gunpoint.
The incident took place around 7:45 p.m., Monday, Dec. 27, at the Fairfield Shell located at 1139 Post Road.
According to Lt. Edward Weihe, of the Fairfield Police Department, a man entered the store, held the clerk at gunpoint, and demanded cash from the register.
He fled the area prior to police arrival.
No injuries were reported.
As both an investigative and precautionary measure, police, along with K-9s, searched the area.

Boats Vandalized With Graffiti At Fairfield County Marina
Police in Fairfield County are asking the public for help after several boats were vandalized with graffiti at an area marina.
The incident took place twice in December at the South Benson Marina in Fairfield, said Sgt. Michael Stahl, of the Fairfield Police Department.
According to Stahl, officers responded to the Marina on both Friday, Dec. 17, and Thursday, Dec. 23, and found numerous boats spray-painted with similar markings/tags.
The boats were all marked with black paint and what appeared to be either the words Yeet/Yeex, Mot/Mox, Sano, and Reckr, painted on them.

Fairfield County Teacher Ordered To Stay Away From Alleged Sexual Abuse Victims
A Connecticut teacher who has been charged with allegedly sexually abusing two students has been ordered to stay away from the victims.
The case against Samantha Peck, age 30, a science teacher at the Bridgeport Military Academy was continued to Wednesday, Dec. 1, during a hearing on Monday, Nov. 15.
During the proceeding, a Bridgeport Assistant State Attorney requested the protective orders for the alleged victims, which was granted.

Ex-emt From Fairfield County Sentenced For Crash That Killed Woman
A Fairfield County man who hit and killed a woman walking her dog before fleeing has been sentenced to prison.
Declan Kot, age 24, of Easton, Nov. 10 was sentenced to 20 years, suspended after serving seven years. Five years of probation will follow that, along with 500 hours of community service, according to the Bridgeport Superior Court.
During the first three years of his probation, Kot will be also be required to install an ignition interlock device in his car and undergo substance abuse evaluations.
