Search Resumes For 2 Swimmers Missing In Candlewood Lake An extensive search and rescue mission will resume early on Tuesday, July 16, for two men who jumped from a boat in a Fairfield County lake and never resurfaced. The incident occurred in Danbury at around 10:30 p.m. on Monday, July 16, at Candlewood Lake in the area of City Island. According to Erin Henry, spokesperson for the Danbury Fire Department, it was reported that two men had jumped off a boat into the lake and disappeared. 1 Rescued From CT River After Kayak Capsizes One person was rescued from a Connecticut river after their kayak capsized as dusk approached. The incident occurred in New Haven County around 7:50 p.m., Tuesday, July 2, in the Quinnipiac River in North Haven. CT Man Charged After Shooting Down Drone With BB Gun A Connecticut man has been charged with criminal mischief for allegedly shooting down a drone with a BB gun. The incident took place in New Haven County around 1:20 p.m., Friday, Dec. 9 in the area of John Street in Milford.  According to Milford Police, a man reported that he was legally flying his drone when it was shot with a BB gun and damaged. Following an investigation, it was determined that Lawrence Cyr, age 54, of Milford, shot the drone and caused significant damage, police said. Cyr was charged with criminal mischief and released on a promise to appear ticket.

Investigation Underway After Mysterious Drone Flies Above Yankee Stadium During Game Police are investigating after a drone flew above Yankee Stadium in the middle of Yankees-Red Sox, according to NJ.com. The incident took place on Saturday, July 16 when the Yankees were en route to beating the Sox 1-14. The drone reportedly zipped around in the air for 15 minutes near the Delta Airlines sign in the right-center field, NJ.com said.
