Fairfield County Man Saved By Cop After Stabbing, Police Say A Fairfield County man was saved by a quick-thinking police officer after he was stabbed on a city sidewalk. The incident took place in Stamford around 9 a.m., Saturday, April 16, in the area of 579 Pacific St. Stamford Officer Nicholas Kuhn was on routine patrol when he was alerted to a man lying on the sidewalk by a passerby in the area. Kuhn immediately ran to the man who he found had been the victim of a stabbing, said Capt. Richard Conklin, of the Stamford Police Department. Fairfield County Drug Dealer Busted For Selling Fentanyl, Police Say A Fairfield County man was busted for allegedly selling fentanyl throughout the county following a four-month investigation. Edson Casseus, age 36, of Bridgeport, was busted on Friday, Jan. 21, at the SONO Collection mall by the Stamford Police Narcotics and Organized Crime Unit, Captain Richard Conklin of the Stamford Police said. Casseus was arrested after agents were able to secure an arrest warrant charging him with three counts of sale of narcotics, Conklin said.
