Danbury Man Nabbed For Setting Fire To CT Residence, Police Say A 54-year-old man faces arson charges after allegedly setting fire to a Connecticut residence, police announced. Death ID: Police Identified Man Who Perished In CT Fire Police have identified a man who was found dead following a fire at a Connecticut home. Tolland County resident Joel Kerr, age 66, of Vernon, was found dead on Sunday, June 11 inside a home at 144 Hany Lane in Vernon. According to Lt. The Hartford County woman was found around 8 p.m., Monday, March 21, in East Windsor following the fire at a multi-family home on Church Street. One Killed In Connecticut Condo Fire, Officials Say One person was killed during an early morning multi-family condominium fire in Connecticut. The blaze broke out in Windham County around 3 a.m., Monday, Jan. 10 in a four-family dwelling on Sachem Drive in the central village section of Plainfield.
