Body Discovered In Connecticut River Sparks Police Investigation Police in Rocky Hill are investigating after a body was found in the Connecticut River near Ferry Park, authorities said.   Officers and emergency crews rushed to the scene Sunday morning, April 27, after a boater reported seeing something unusual in the water. Upon arrival, responders found the body near the shoreline, just south of the popular park. Body Found Near Waterfront In Fairfield County An investigation is underway after a body was found off the coast of Connecticut. The discovery was made in Fairfield County around 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20 at Seaside Park in Bridgeport.  "This is an active investigation and currently no further information is available," Bridgeport Emergency Management said in a statement issued just after 6:30 p.m. Monday. Body Recovered From River In Region Body Recovered From River In Region
Body Recovered From River In Region A man's body has been recovered from a river in Western Massachusetts.  According to Ryan Walsh, spokesman for the Springfield Police Department, the body was found around 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 19, when officers were called to the 500 block of Hancock Street for a report of a body in the Mill River. Members of the Springfield Fire department recovered the body. Walsh said there were no indications of suspicious activity, and the incident is being investigated by the Detective Bureau.  This is a developing story. Check back to Daily Voice for updates.

Body Found In CT Pond Police are investigating after a body was found in a Connecticut pond. The body of a man was found after Hartford Police received information regarding a body floating in a pond at Bushnell Park around 7:30 a.m., Sunday, Sept. 12. When officers arrived at the park they retrieved the man's body, said Lt. Aaron Boisvert of the Hartford Police.  At this point in the investigation, there are no obvious signs of trauma, Boisvert said.
