Building Closed In CT After Grenade-Like Device Found A Connecticut public works facility is temporarily closed after a grenade-like object was found in the entrance roadway. The incident occurred in New Haven County around 8:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 9, on North Division Street in Ansonia. According to Ansonia Public Works, public works employees found the object in the grass along the entrance road to the complex. Ansonia Fire Marshall Darrick Lundeen assisted in the investigation, and the Connecticut State Police are currently assessing the object, the department said. CT Man Charged In Car Dealership Burglary One of three men wanted in connection with an alleged string of car dealership burglaries across Connecticut in which luxury vehicles were stolen was nabbed following an investigation by numerous police departments. New Haven County resident 21-year-old Quadele Vickers of Ansonia, was charged on Wednesday, Aug. 2 for his involvement in a burglary of Infiniti in Wallingford, said Sgt. Seen Him? Alert Issued For Missing CT 15-Year-Old Authorities are asking for help from the public in finding a missing 15-year-old who ran away from his New Haven County home. Dominick Addison, age 15, left his Ansonia home on Tuesday, May 16 around 7:30 a.m. and has not been seen since, according to the Ansonia Police Department.  Addison is described as weighing around 120 pounds and is 6 feet 2 inches tall. CT Woman Assaulted, Robbed While Pumping Gas, Police Say A woman pumping gas at a Connecticut gas station was injured after being assaulted and then robbed by at least one person armed with a gun. Police In CT Searching For Missing 1-Year-Old, Mother Police in Connecticut are asking for the public's help locating a 1-year-old girl who was allegedly taken by her mother. The infant, Royalty Bass, was last seen in New Haven County in Ansonia on Tuesday, April 26 with her mother Shameka Henri. Johnny Class, age 20, of Stratford, was killed in New Haven County in Ansonia on Tuesday, April 5, on Hubbell Avenue near Sixth Street. Officers Rescue Two CT Women From Burning House, Police Say Two Connecticut women were rescued from their burning home as flames surrounded them. The fire took place around 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 15, in New Haven County at a home on Spring Street in Ansonia.
