Bust Made In Fatal Sidewalk Stabbing In CT Months After Attack Connecticut police say they arrested a 36-year-old man in a two-month-old fatal stabbing that left a 26-year-old dead in New Haven, authorities said.  Thomas Norfleet, age 36, of New Haven, is accused of fatally stabbing Shamar Gibson during an argument on a sidewalk on July 6, New Haven police said in a press conference on Thursday, Sept. 5.  Norfleet and Gibson got into an argument over Norfleet's niece around 2 p.m. on Orchard Street. CT Officer Seriously Injured, Hospitalized After Punch To Face A Connecticut police officer who responded to a report of a fight was seriously injured and hospitalized after being punched in the face. The incident occurred in New Haven around midnight on Saturday, June 22, in the Fair Haven area of town.
