A Connecticut resident received heavy burns to his head and face while escaping from his burning home. The incident occurred in New Haven County on Lynn Terrace around 6 p.m., Thursday, in Seymour. Four people who were not wearing life jackets were rescued from the waters of the Long Island Sound in Fairfield County. The incident occurred in Norwalk on Saturday, Aug. 3.
