Kids, Mom Beaten Nearly To Death In Domestic Violence Attack: Police Two Connecticut children and their mother are in critical condition at a Fairfield County hospital after they were beaten nearly to death in a domestic violence attack on Wednesday, Sept. 25.  Abdulrahim Sulaiman, 38, is charged in the vicious attack, Bridgeport Police said.  Authorities were called to a home in the 2400 block of Main St. in Bridgeport around 10 a.m. to reports of an attack. The incident occurred in New Haven County at Hammonasset Beach State Park in Madison on Thursday, June 20. Bridgeport 3-Year-Old ID'd As Drowning Victim A 3-year-old Fairfield County child has been identified as the victim of a drowning in a backyard kiddie pool. Related: Infant Drowns At Bridgeport Home The incident occurred in Bridgeport around 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 15, at a home on the city's west side. According to Tiadora Josef, spokeswoman for the Bridgeport Police, the child was found unresponsive in a small 3-foot children's pool. Girl, 9, Rescued From Swimming Pool At Danbury Home A 9-year-old girl was rescued from a Fairfield County swimming pool by a bystander who administered first aid. The incident occurred in Danbury around 3 p.m., Sunday, May 25, at a home on Westwood Terrace. According to Erin Henry, spokesperson for the Danbury Fire Department, the girl, who was unconscious, was recovered from the backyard swimming pool by a bystander.  That person immediately administered first aid to the child, and by the time emergency services arrived, Henry said she was breathing on her own.  She was transported to the hospital by EMS.
