SUV Hits Man Refueling on I-95 Before Speeding Away In Milford: Police
A car crashed into a man on the side of I-95 as he refueled his vehicle over the weekend, causing him serious injuries to his leg, authorities said. Police and rescue crews were called to an area near southbound Exit 38 around 6:20 on Sunday, Dec. 23. A man pulled his car into the breakdown lane and was refilling it with gas when a silver SUV, possibly a GMC Acadia or Chevrolet Traverse, crashed into him and sped away, authorities said. Police ID Man Fighting For His Life After CT Transit Bus Crashed Into Him
Police have identified the 54-year-old Connecticut man fighting for his life after being struck by a CT Transit bus in Fairfield County on Thursday evening, Dec. 5. David Sheridan, of Stamford, was struck on Glenbrook Road near East Main Street in Stamford just before 5 p.m. He sustained life-threatening injuries in the crash. CT 19-Year-Old Seriously Injured In Route 1 Crash
Police are searching for witnesses to a crash on a Connecticut roadway that left a 19-year-old man seriously injured. The New London County incident occurred on Friday, July 12 in the town of Old Lyme, Connecticut State Police said. Just before 1 a.m., the teen was driving north on Route 1, or Boston Post Road, in a Honda HR-V LX. Near the intersection of Boggy Hole Road, the teen lost control of the SUV, veered onto the left side of the roadway, and hit a parked car sitting in a nearby driveway, according to police.
