A 26-year-old Connecticut man turned what should have been a routine traffic stop into a mountain of felony charges earlier this week after allegedly crashing into multiple police cars while carrying a large amount of drugs, authorities said. A late-night traffic stop in Connecticut led to the arrest of a local man after police found a stolen firearm, ammunition, and marijuana packaged for sale in his vehicle, police said. A Connecticut man who works as a police sergeant in Rhode Island was found dead at a town hall in Windham County this week after having been reported missing, Daily Voice has learned. Scituate (Rhode Island) Police Sgt. Jason Riquier, 47, was discovered in a vehicle at the Sterling Town Hall on Monday, Jan. 13, law enforcement sources familiar with the incident confirmed. Police have identified the man who died following an explosion and fire at his Connecticut home over the weekend. Thomas Cianciola, 56, of Waterbury, died on Sunday, Jan. 12, after an explosion at his 220 Horseshoe Drive home, authorities said on Tuesday.
