6-Year-Old Hit By Bus: Police Release New Details In Crash Update: The 6-year-old Connecticut boy who was hit by a school bus on Thursday, Oct. 3, remains in the hospital on Friday, but he is in stable condition and his injuries are not considered life-threatening, police said. 2 Critically Injured After Being Struck On Sidewalk In Westport Two people are in critical condition after a vehicle veered off the roadway in Fairfield County and hit two pedestrians on a sidewalk. The incident occurred in Westport around 6:45 p.m. on Imperial Avenue near Post Road East. According to Westport Police Deputy Chief David Farrell, police, fire, and EMS were dispatched to the scene following a 911 call. Upon arrival, first responders provided immediate medical attention to the injured pedestrians, who were transported to Norwalk Hospital for further treatment. Woman, 59, Hit, Killed Walking Near Cemetery In Norwalk Police in Fairfield County are investigating after a 59-year-old woman was struck and killed while walking near a cemetery.  The incident occurred in Norwalk around 9:20 a.m., Friday, June 21, at 81 Riverside Ave. (Riverside Cemetery). According to Lt. Tomasz Podgorski of the Norwalk Police, officers responded to the area following a 911 call of an accident with injuries in which a pedestrian was struck.
