A former Connecticut dispatcher was shot and killed by San Francisco police after chasing down a bicyclist and injuring pedestrians in a hit-and-run rampage, authorities said. Newly-released bodycam footage shows the Dec. 19, 2024 incident that left 50-year-old Peter Hodge dead. Body-Cam Video Shows Suspect Fired First In New Haven Officer-Involved Fatal Shooting: Report
The Connecticut Office of Inspector General released its preliminary findings in a fatal officer-involved shooting last week and found that the suspect fired at police first. Jebrell Conley, 36, was shot and killed on Thursday, Sept. 19, at a West Haven car wash on Boston Road.
