Motorcyclist Killed In Early Morning Crash In Bozrah After Losing Control A 42-year-old Connecticut man was killed in a single-vehicle, early morning crash after he lost control of his Harley Davidson motorcycle and crashed, authorities said.  Michael Ryan Austin, of Yantic in New London County, was found a little after 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 2, in a wooded area off of Bishop Road in Bozrah — about 5 miles west of Norwich, Connecticut State Police said.  Investigators believe Austin failed to navigate a right-hand curve which sent him into the oncoming lane, where he hit a rocky embankment and crashed into a wooded area.  Paramedics rushed h…

CT 31-Year-Old Dies After Crashing Into Guardrail A Connecticut man was killed after crashing his vehicle into a guardrail. The incident occurred in Litchfield County at 5 p.m., Aug. 12, in New Hartford. According to the Connecticut State Police, a Hartford County man, identified as Robert Holcomb, age 31, of Farmington, was found by troopers suffering from severe injuries on westbound Route 44. He was rushed by ambulance to Winsted Health Center in Winsted, where he was pronounced dead, state police said. Fatal Crash: 74-Year-Old ID'd As Victim After 2 Vehicles Collide On CT Roadway A 74-year-old Connecticut man was killed after his vehicle was hit by a pickup truck. New Haven County resident Michael Arthur Miller, of East Haven, died around 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 5, in Oxford. According to the Connecticut State Police, Miller was riding his Harley-Davidson FLHT Classic eastbound on Silano Drive when he entered the Route 188 intersection and was hit by a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 pickup truck traveling southbound. Man, Woman, Both Age 33, Killed In 2-Vehicle CT Crash A man and woman were killed after being thrown from a vehicle in a two-vehicle Connecticut crash. The collision occurred in New London County around 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, at the intersection of North Burnham Highway, Kimball Road, and Meadowbrook Drive in Libson.  According to the Connecticut State Police, Trevor Pawlak, age 33, and Jessica Fowler, age 33, both of Griswold, in New London County, were killed after a 2023 Harley-Davidson motorcycle they were riding collided with a 2014 Volkswagen Passat attempting to make a turn.
