4 Hurt In Weekend Crash; Firefighters Cut 2 From Wreckage Connecticut firefighters had to cut two people from a vehicle that crashed over the weekend with four people being hospitalized in the Fairfield County wreck, authorities said.  The crash was reported around 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2, near 119 Junction Road in Brookfield, fire officials said.  A passenger was partially ejected through the windshield and was laying on top of the driver, Brookfield firefighters said, and rescue crews had to cut the top off of the vehicle to get them out safely. Search Resumes For 2 Swimmers Missing In Candlewood Lake An extensive search and rescue mission will resume early on Tuesday, July 16, for two men who jumped from a boat in a Fairfield County lake and never resurfaced. The incident occurred in Danbury at around 10:30 p.m. on Monday, July 16, at Candlewood Lake in the area of City Island. According to Erin Henry, spokesperson for the Danbury Fire Department, it was reported that two men had jumped off a boat into the lake and disappeared. Man Charged With Drug Sales After Months-Long Danbury Investigation A Fairfield County man was charged with alleged illegal drug sales after complaints from residents led to a months-long investigation. Arpit Soni, age 28, of Danbury, was arrested on Thursday, June 6, following an investigation by the Danbury Police, Brookfield Police, and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
