Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Daytime Single-, Double-Lane Closes Scheduled For Sprain In Mount Pleasant Motorists can expect delays on a busy stretch of the Sprain Brook Parkway in Westchester during daytime roadwork. The New York State Department of Transportation (DOT) says there will be single- and double-lane closures in each direction Tuesday, Sept. 24, through Friday, Sept. 27, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. each day. The roadwork will be between I-287 in the village of Elmsford and the Taconic State Parkway in the town of Mount Pleasant.

Last Full-Size Kmart Store In US Set To Close: Here's Where, When The nation's last remaining full-size Kmart discount department store is just weeks away from permanently closing, according to a new report. The New York store, located on Long Island, will close on Sunday, Oct. 20, a store employee told NBC affiliate WJAR in Providence on Sunday, Sept. 22. 4 Rescued After Sailboat Overturns On Long Island Sound In Hempstead Bay Emergency responders from two counties teamed up to rescue several people after a sailboat overturned on the Long Island Sound. The incident happened around 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22 Marine 7 of the Nassau County Police Department Marine Bureau Unit responded for reports of an overturned sailboat.  With the assistance of the Westchester Police Department, all four occupants were removed from the water and the sail boat was towed to shore by Town of North Hempstead Bay Constable.  The FDNY Marine Bureau was also at scene.  There were no injuries reported.
