CT Woman Critically Injured After Car Slams Into Tree On Route 15 A 27-year-old Connecticut woman was seriously injured Friday, Feb. 28, after her car careened off of a highway and struck a tree, police said.  State police were called to an area near the Park Avenue exit (Exit 47) on Route 15 in Trumbull around 3:45 a.m. An initial investigation found that the Bridgeport woman's Mazda left the road for an unknown reason and crashed into a tree.  Paramedics rushed her to Saint Vincent Hospital with serious injuries, authorities said.  State police urge any witnesses or anyone with information on the crash to contact Trooper Roberto Jua…
