'Fugitive From Justice' Wanted For Crime Spree In Sullivan County Extradited A Hudson Valley man wanted for a slew of alleged crimes in the region has been extradited after being arrested out of state.  Orange County resident Joseph Michael Flood, age 42, of Port Jervis, was returned to Sullivan County on Thursday, Nov. 7, after failing to show up in court in 2023 for a crime spree, said Sullivan County Undersheriff Eric Chaboty. Chaboty said Flood was picked up from the Morris County Jail in New Jersey and returned after being arrested by the New Jersey State Police. Rockland County resident Luis Quinac-Morales, age 41, of Spring Valley, on Wednesday, Nov. 6, said Rockland County District Attorney Thomas E. Walsh. Victim Dies After Stabbing At Poughkeepsie Park, Hunt On For Person Of Interest Police are searching for a suspect who is a "person of interest" in a deadly stabbing at a city park in the region. The incident occurred in Dutchess County at 9:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6, at Pershing Avenue Park in the city of Poughkeepsie. According to Det. Sgt. Sean Fitzgerald of the Poughkeepsie Police, a man in his 50s, was found stabbed and bleeding at the park by responding officers.
