Noose Discovered In Locker Room At CT High School Police are investigating after a noose was found in a boys' locker room at a high school in Connecticut. The noose was found in Tolland County at the RHAM High School located in Hebron on Friday, Nov. 18. District 8 School Superintendent Colin McNamara said the noose, commonly associated with racial hatred, was found hanging in the locker room by a staff member. The staff member immediately removed the noose and alerted the school administration. Man Wins $300,000 In CT State Lottery A Connecticut resident claimed a $300,000 lottery prize. A Hartford County man from Manchester won the "Diamonds & Gold" prize from a ticket purchased at Ellington Quick Mart in Tolland County, Connecticut Lottery announced on Monday, Nov. 7. The store is located at 194 Windsorville Road in Ellington, CT Lottery said. Another recent noteworthy winner is New London County resident Matthew Albert Tio, of Norwich, who won a $50,000 Powerball prize, the lottery reported.  CT Lottery said the winning ticket was purchased at Chucky's in Norwich.
