A threat of gun violence at a Connecticut high school has been deemed unsubstantiated, according to officials. The incident took place in Hartford County at Southington High School early Thursday, Oct. 26 in Southington. According to Lt. Keith Egan of the Southington Police, the school received a call with a threat of gun violence inside the school. The call originated from an out-of-state number. Two teens have been arrested for making two separate social media threats against two Connecticut Schools. The threats were made in New Haven County on Monday, Sept. 26, causing the two Waterbury schools to shelter in place and have additional police on campus on Tuesday, Sept. 27. Waterbury Police Lt. CT Student Accused Of Making Threats Against Staff Member, Middle School
A Connecticut middle school student has been charged with making threats against a staff member and against the school. The incident took place in Middlesex County on Wednesday, May 25 in Old Saybrook. The unidentified teen was arrested after Old Saybrook Police received an anonymous complaint about a student making concerning remarks in the past about "shooting up a staff member" and "blowing up" the middle school, said Chief Michael A. Police Investigating Threat At High School In Region
There was an increased police presence at an area high school after a threat was found posted in a bathroom in Western Massachusetts. In Hampden County, the Holyoke Police Department is investigating an incident at the high school after students alerted administrators to graffiti in the bathroom that said “school shooting 10/14/21,” school officials wrote in a notice to parents.
