Gilgo Beach Murders: Reward Offered As New Details Released About 'Asian Doe' Victim Authorities are hoping new details about a male victim in the Gilgo Beach serial murders case – and a cash reward – will lead to his identification. On Long Island, the Gilgo Beach Task Force released details about clothing that was worn by the so-called “Asian Doe,” whose skeletal remains were found along Ocean Parkway in Gilgo Beach on April 4, 2011. The man, who investigators revealed was beaten to death sometime prior to 2006, was found wearing all women’s clothing. The puppy was discovered in New Haven County around 12 p.m. on Saturday, July 8, in the hamlet of Fair Haven, said Capt. Rose Dell, of the New Haven Police. Dell said two officers on patrol found the puppy in the crate on Poplar Street. An investigation was started with the help of Animal Control officers who discovered the puppy had been shot. Reward Offered In Investigation Of Fatal Shooting Of CT Man Outside His Residence Connecticut State Police are offering a $25,000 reward for leads in the murder of an area man in 2017. Steven Devost, age 31, of the Town of Sprague, in New London County, was shot and killed, outside his home on Thursday, Dec. 17, 2017, said the state police. The New London State's Attorney Office has authorized the reward to anyone with information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible.
