Prospective actors who don't mind donning 18th-century-era costumes may be interested in auditioning for a television show set to film in Connecticut. An upcoming show centered around the Revolutionary War and George Washington titled "Revolution" will film in Fairfield County between Monday, March 25, and Friday, April 5 in Stamford, according to a casting call posted by Backstage. Western Connecticut State University Announces New Nickname
Western Connecticut State University (WCSU) in Danbury announced that following a multi-year discussion that included town halls and online balloting, the school will now identify as the “Wolves.” The Wolves nickname replaces “Colonial Chuck,” who reportedly raised concern for its representation of a violent period in American history by representing a minuteman from the Revolutionary War.
