A 21-year-old man faces numerous charges after taking part in a late-night 200-vehicle "takeover" that disturbed traffic in a Hartford County town, police said.
Tyler Bingham, age 21, was arrested on Monday, April 17 on charges related to the "vehicle takeover," which happened in Simsbury on the night of Saturday, March 25, according to Simsbury Police.

Michael Yamin, the Connecticut Region 16 superintendent, pleaded guilty to reckless driving in Florida last month after prosecutors reduced his DUI charge, court documents show.
Police in Volusia County, Florida, pulled over Yamin, age 54, of Cheshire, last summer after they spotted him weaving in and out of his lane, records show. Officers said he slurred his words and stumbled as he got out of his 2018 Lincoln.

81-Year-Old Seriously Injured In Crash, Leading To Charges For Fairfield County Man
A Fairfield County man has been charged in connection with a crash in Ansonia last year that left an 81-year-old with serious injuries.
The incident took place in New Haven County around 6:15 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 4, 2022, in Ansonia.
Arsene Ndabian, age 64, of Bridgeport was arrested on Tuesday, Jan. 10, by warrant for his involvement in the crash on Division Street where an 81-year-old pedestrian was struck and seriously injured, said Lt. Patrick Lynch, of the Ansonia Police.
Ndabian was the driver of a cargo van that struck and dragged the pedestrian for several hundred feet, Lynch said.…
Woman Charged After Driving On Fairfield County Sidewalk To Try To Catch Dog, Police Say
A woman was charged with reckless endangerment after police reported that she drove on a sidewalk in Fairfield County while trying to catch her roaming dog.
Kristen Schilo, age 54, of New Canaan, surrendered to police on Monday, Dec. 5, on an arrest warrant related to an incident that happened in October, the New Canaan Police Department reported.
Officers responded to South School in New Canaan at about 1:40 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 7, after receiving a report of a vehicle driving on the sidewalk, police said.
