Yale Grad Doctor Charged With Raping Ex-Patients At Massachusetts Hospital
A doctor who's been accused of sexually assaulting more than 200 women and several men in a lawsuit is now charged with raping two patients at a medical center in Framingham, authorities announced. Dr. Derrick Todd was charged with raping two women who were his patients, the Middlesex District Attorney's Office announced on Thursday, Jan. 16. Cold Case: Police Bust Man In 35-Year-Old Rape, Kidnapping Spree Case
A 53-year-old man arrested this week that could be the key to solving a series of kidnappings and rapes that happened in a small Fairfield County town in 1989, authorities announced. David V. Coffey was arrested and charged in connection to the abduction and rape of a woman in Danbury, authorities said. Police added other arrests are pending in the cases. A 47-year-old man who died in a Western Massachusetts garage fire over the weekend was on trial for child sex abuse in Greenfield District Court, authorities said. Franklin County resident William Willey, of Montague, was killed in a two-alarm fire that tore through a garage at 90 East Street in Northfield on Sunday, Nov. 13, the Northwestern District Attorney's Office reports.
