12-Year-Old Shot For Throwing Snowballs At Car In CT: Report A 12-year-old boy had to be hospitalized this week after someone shot him for throwing a snowball at their car, NBC Connecticut reported.  The incident happened Wednesday night, Jan. 22, in the Capitol Avenue and Park Terrace area of Hartford around 7:15 p.m.  Police were called to the area and found the boy with gunshot wounds, the report continued. 'Mechanical Malfunction' Sends CT Teen To Hospital After Crashing Bike Into Car A 15-year-old bicyclist was hospitalized after a crash involving a car in Connecticut earlier this week, police said. The teen was riding a bicycle along Church Street near Morse Street in Putnam around 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 27, when it veered off the sidewalk and crashed into a 2020 Toyota Camry following a "mechanical malfunction," police said. Pedestrian Killed Walking Along CT Highway; Police Investigating Crash Police in Connecticut are asking to speak to witnesses of a crash on Sunday, Nov. 10, that left a pedestrian dead in Hartford County.  Authorities were called to the wreck at the intersection of Barnes Highway (Route 72) and Lincoln Avenue in Bristol just before 6 p.m. and found a man suffering severe injuries, police said.  Paramedics rushed him to an area hospital, where he died of his wounds. Teen In Critical Condition, 16-Year-Old Shot In 'Domestic' Attack: Police A 16-year-old Connecticut girl is in critical condition following an early morning shooting Tuesday, Sept. 17, authorities said.  Police were called to a  Hartford County home around 12:30 a.m. to reports of a shooting in Hartford. The address wasn't released to protect the victim as investigators believe this is a "domestic-related" attack.  Hartford police found the girl suffering from a bullet wound.
