The blaze broke out in Fairfield County just before 9 a.m. Monday, Dec. 25 in Norwalk in a 2.5-story home on Pine Hill Avenue. Initial reports stated there was smoke in the basement. The incident took place in Norwalk around 2:50 p.m., Thursday, April 13 at a warehouse building located at 16 Muller Ave. The initial call was for an explosion with a chemical release, said Timothy Reardon, deputy chief of the Norwalk Fire Department.
