A Fairfield County man was charged with drug sales after a lengthy investigation into narcotics sales in the region.
Hunter Wells, age 31, of Norwalk, was charged on Tuesday, June 4, following the 8-month investigation.
According to Lt. Tomasz Podgorski of the Norwalk Police, members of the Norwalk Police Special Services Division, along with the Stamford Police Narcotics/Organized Crime Unit, executed search and seizure warrants on Wells, his vehicle, and his person.

Two vape shop employees were charged with the alleged possession of marijuana with intent to sell in Fairfield County after police seized more than seven pounds of pot at a vape shop not licensed to sell marijuana.
The two employees, Nusrat Shaika, age 20, of the Bronx, and MD Shohidul Joy, age 19, of Queens, were arrested on Thursday, April 11, during the execution of a search warrant at Smoke House 1 Vape Shop in Norwalk.

A man was found sleeping in his vehicle along with more than a pound of marijuana in Fairfield County, police said.
The incident took place in Trumbull around 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 2 on Woodridge Circle.
Enzo Aleman, age 19, of Stamford, was arrested after officers were called to investigate a vehicle with its engine running since the night before, said Lt. Brian Weir, of the Trumbull Police.
