A missing Connecticut man who disappeared while trail hiking has been found dead.
Fairfield County resident Jack Gordon, age 57, had last been seen in his hometown of Ridgefield on Sunday, Dec. 3 was located deceased
Gordon had left home to go hiking in the Bennetts Farm Trail System area in Ridgefield,.
After 18 hours of searching the area on foot and with drones, K-9 dogs, and air support, he was located, said Capt. Jeff Raines, of the Ridgefield Police.

A man who worked at Reader's Digest in Westchester County for decades has died at the age of 63.
Dutchess County resident Robert Riley-Brown, of Wappingers Falls, died at New York Presbyterian Milstein Heart Center on Saturday, Aug. 20, according to his obituary.
He was born in the Litchfield County town of Sharon, Connecticut.
According to his obituary, Riley-Brown worked as a supervisor at the Global Data Center at Reader's Digest in Pleasantville for 27 years, and he later worked at IBM in Poughkeepsie, his obituary said.

The body of a Connecticut man who went missing while hiking in the high peaks of the Adirondack Mountains in upstate New York has been found.
Fairfield County resident Thomas A. Howard, age 61, of Westport, went missing on Wednesday, March 16, while hiking on Mount Colden in the town of North Elba, in Essex County, New York, just south of Plattsburgh near the Canadian and Vermont borders.
