Fairfield County Native Shot To Death At Age 35 Remembered As 'Kind, Gentle Person' Family and friends are remembering a Connecticut man who was shot to death at his home. New Haven County resident Justin Spray, of Milford, died at the age of 35 on Wednesday, May 25, after he was shot “by a mentally ill person with a gun at his home,” his obituary said. Police had been called to his home on Edgefield Avenue just before 1 p.m. with reports of a fight and possible gunfire, according to Milford Police. First, a 15-year-old boy was shot on Vernon Street around 6:45 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, Worcester Police said. He was taken to a local hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening. Then, 17-year-old boy was shot in the area of Orne Street after police responded to a ShotSpotter activation just before 10 p.m. on Sunday, June 12, police added. Two Shot On Roadway In Western Mass Police are investigating after two men were shot on a street in Western Massachusetts. The incident took place in Springfield around 3:30 p.m., Sunday, June 5 in the 100 block of Massachusetts Avenue. When Springfield police arrived on the scene to investigate a Shotspotter activation, they found two men who had received gunshot wounds, said Ryan Walsh, a spokesman for the Springfield Police. Both men were transported to Baystate Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Walsh said. The Springfield detective bureau is investigating.
