Norwalk Firefighters Battle Construction Machine Blaze, Contain Fuel Spill A construction milling machine caught on fire Wednesday, Nov. 20, sending Norwalk firefighters rushing to the scene to mitigate any potential spread.  Firefighters were called to the construction equipment fire on Betmarlea Road around 3 p.m. The blaze, which produced thick smoke in the residential area, was contained without any injuries reported.
