Suspect Nabbed Two Hours After 22-Year-Old Massachusetts Man Is Killed In Hit-Run Crash A man was killed after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in Boston who was driving drunk, according to Massachusetts State Police. Shortly after 1 a.m. Saturday, June 4, troopers responded to the crash on Storrow Drive that resulted in the death of a pedestrian, police said.  Patrol units subsequently located the driver, who was determined to be under the influence, and took him into custody, said state police. The plane, a Piper PA-28, was reported missing on Sunday, Oct. 31 around 10 p.m. after it had departed Reading, Pennsylvania, authorities said. Massachusetts State Police Cruiser Struck By Tractor-Trailer A Massachusetts state trooper was seriously injured after being struck by a tractor-trailer while protecting a road construction crew. The incident took place around 11:44 p.m., Tuesday, Sept.. 28 on I-95 southbound near its intersection with the Mass Pike in Weston in Middlesex County. According to Dave Procopio, of the state police, the trooper was inside his cruiser when it was struck.  "The trooper sustained serious injuries, but was alert and radioed in the crash himself," Procopio said.
