Man Charged With Drug Sales After Months-Long Danbury Investigation
A Fairfield County man was charged with alleged illegal drug sales after complaints from residents led to a months-long investigation.
Arpit Soni, age 28, of Danbury, was arrested on Thursday, June 6, following an investigation by the Danbury Police, Brookfield Police, and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
According to Erin Henry of the Danbury Police, detectives had received complaints from concerned citizens about illegal drug sales by Soni, who was the target of the investigation.

Hugo Moraes-DeLima, age 41, of Boca Raton, Florida, was busted in Danbury on Sunday, April 16, at the La Quinta Hotel.

Man, Woman Charged With Sexual Assault Of Child In Fairfield County
Two people have been arrested in Fairfield County for the alleged sexual abuse of a child.
The arrests come after an investigation in Danbury following a complaint made in September 2021.
Danbury police began an investigation into allegations of sexual abuse of a child. The child, who is now an adult, was the complainant, said Det. Lt. Mark Williams, of the Danbury Police.

A 13-year-old Connecticut boy suffered serious head and face injuries after a man forced his way into a home.
The incident took place in Fairfield County around 10:45 a.m., Friday, March 11, at a residence on Wildman Street in Danbury.
When police arrived on the scene, the youth told officers that a white man forced his way in after answering his front door, pointed a gun at him, and demanded money, said Det. Lt. Mark Williams, of the Danbury Police.

Man Critical Following Fairfield County Shooting, Police Say
Police in Fairfield County are investigating after a man was found shot in the yard of a home.
The victim, a man in his 20s, was discovered around 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 28, when Danbury police officers responded to the area of 67 Rowan St., on the report of shots fired.
Responding officers found the unidentified suffering from gunshot wounds on the ground in a nearby yard, said Det. Captain Bryan Bishop, of the Danbury Police.
The man was taken to Danbury Hospital for treatment where he is listed in critical condition, Bishop said.
