Nursing Home Murder-Suicide: Cops ID Husband, Wife Dead in CT An 82-year-old Connecticut man shot his 81-year-old wife to death at a rehabilitation center on Friday, Oct. 4, before turning the gun on himself, authorities said.  Dennis Brandt was identified as the shooter at Middlesex County's Apple Rehab on Berlin Road in Crowell, authorities said.  Cromwell Police received a 911 call just before 11 a.m. to reports of a shooting at the center. Man Accused Of Running Over, Killing Woman In CT Now Nabbed For Sexual Assault A Connecticut man who is charged with manslaughter for allegedly running over and killing a woman on purpose has been arrested again for an alleged sexual assault. The assault occurred in Tolland County in August 2023 in the parking lot of a Coventry commercial business. According to Coventry Police, James Sadlowski, age 31, with no address known, was charged on Tuesday, April 30, after a lengthy investigation into the sexual assault. Man, Woman Accused Of Robbing Victim Of Pair Of Shoes In CT At Gunpoint Two Connecticut residents were charged with allegedly robbing a victim of a pair of shoes at gunpoint. The incident took place in Middlesex County on Sunday, Oct. 9, in the parking lot of River Centre Plaza in Cromwell. According to Capt. Frederick Sifodaskalakis of the Cromwell Police, police responded to 77 Berlin Road at the plaza for a report of an armed robbery in the parking lot.
