Danbury Teacher's Aide Accused Of Making 4 School Bomb Threats
Following a 10-month investigation, a Fairfield County teacher's aide was charged with threatening and breach of peace after allegedly making four bomb threats at the school where she worked.
Litchfield County resident Amber Davidson, age 36, of New Milford, was arrested Thursday, Oct. 12, said Erin Henry, spokesperson for the Danbury Police Department.
According to police, Davidson, an employee at Pembroke Elementary School in Danbury, allegedly began making the threats on Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2022, by placing a note in a school bathroom indicating there was a bomb in the building. …

Hartford Police Detective Robert (Bobby) Garten, age 34, was killed and another officer was severely injured around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, near Asylum Avenue and Cogswell Street, when a speeding driver ran a red light and slammed into his police cruiser, Hartford Police said.

Stamford Man Found Sleeping In Car With Pound Of Pot In Trumbull, Police Say
A man was found sleeping in his vehicle along with more than a pound of marijuana in Fairfield County, police said.
The incident took place in Trumbull around 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 2 on Woodridge Circle.
Enzo Aleman, age 19, of Stamford, was arrested after officers were called to investigate a vehicle with its engine running since the night before, said Lt. Brian Weir, of the Trumbull Police.

Extradited Bridgeport Murder Suspect Confesses, Police Say
A Fairfield County man wanted for the 2020 stabbing of a man that resulted in his death two years later confessed to detectives when he was extradited from Georgia, according to police.
Anthony Marion, age 58, of Bridgeport, was extradited from Fulton County, Georgia on Wednesday, Aug. 9, and offered a full confession to detectives, said Capt. Kevin Gilleran of the Bridgeport Police Department
Marion was wanted for the Thursday, Dec. 3, 2020, stabbing assault of 58-year-old Gregory Williams, of Bridgeport, that resulted in his death on Monday, Oct. 10, 2022, Gilleran said.
