HP Hood LLC is recalling 96-ounce containers of Lactaid Milk because the product may contain trace amounts of almond, which is not listed on the label.
People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to almonds may run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products, according to an announcement by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Apple juice sold at Walmart has been recalled due to high arsenic levels.
The US Food and Drug Administration says 9,535 cases of the company's Great Value brand 100 percent apple juice were sold in six-packs of 8-ounce plastic bottles bearing this expiration date: Best if Used by DEC2824 CT89-6, and a UPC code of 0-78742-29655-5.
According to the FDA, the product contains inorganic arsenic above the action level set in industry guidance (13.2 parts per billion).

The death of a 26-year-old Connecticut resident from fentanyl poisoning at a bachelor party in the state of Florida has led to the arrest of an Alabama man on murder charges.
John Nabors, 26, of Mountain Brook, Alabama, was arrested on Wednesday, Nov. 30 for the incident that killed Fairfield County resident Thomas "Tom" Gleason of Ridgefield.

A former Fairfield County resident has pleaded guilty to a single count of firearms trafficking in which local gangs were supplied with guns.
Stephfan Sanderson, age 24, aka “Birdy” and “Beans," made his plea in Bridgeport on Tuesday, Nov. 15, said Vanessa Roberts Avery, US Attorney for the District of Connecticut.
