The window for storm activity on Monday, Aug. 17 is from late in the afternoon until around midnight Tuesday, Aug. 18.
The highest chance for storms is in the evening, according to the National Weather Service.
Some of the storms may become severe at the local level, with brief downpours possible.
"The main threat from the storms will be wind gusts that can approach 60 mph in a few communities," AccuWeather Meteorologist Isaac Longley said.
Following patchy fog overnight, there will be a new chance for storms in the afternoon on Tuesday, Aug. 18 after a mostly sunny start to the day.
Tuesday will be warmer with a high temperature in the low to mid 80s.
