9 CT Residents Nabbed Patronizing Prostitutes During Sting, Police Say
Nine Connecticut residents were nabbed for allegedly attempting to purchase prostitutes during a sting operation. The sting took place in Hartford on Thursday, Dec. 7 in the Wethersfield and Franklin avenues area. After receiving numerous complaints from citizens and business owners in the Wethersfield Avenue and Franklin Avenue areas concerning prostitution, the Hartford Police Vice and Narcotics Division, Street Crimes Unit, and South Community Service officers conducted an operation to address the activity, said Lt. 54-Year-Old Shot, Killed At CT Intersection
A 58-year-old Connecticut man was found shot to death at a busy intersection. The homicide took place in Hartford around 3:40 a.m., Friday, Oct 21 in the area of Wethersfield Avenue at Elliott Street. According to Hartford Police Lt. Aaron Boisvert, officers responded to the area on a report of a person shot. When officers arrived they found Raymond Lewis, of Hartford, unresponsive, Boisvert said. Lewis was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead, he added. The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions responded and assumed the investigation. …

19: CVS Adds 13 New Drive-Thru Test Sites In CT, Bringing Total To 25
Amid the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, CVS Health expanded its COVID-19 testing program by announcing 13 additional test sites at select CVS Pharmacy drive-thru locations across Connecticut. The opening of additional test sites on Friday, May 22 adds to the 12 locations previously opened on Friday, May 15 in Connecticut.
