ID Released For CT Man Killed In Police-Involved Shooting Near Western Mass Casino Authorities have identified a man who was killed in a police-involved shooting in Springfield this weekend as a 48-year-old Connecticut man. Police responded to reports of a possibly armed man acting aggressively to others at the MGM Casino around 2 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25, Hampden District Attorney Anthony Gulluni reports. Upon arrival, officers tried to find the man, later identified as William Tisdol, of Hartford, as he left the casino and headed towards Main and Union streets.  So sad want to send my prayers and blessings to his family real cool dude..... Fatal Shooting Under Investigation In Region Fatal Shooting Under Investigation In Region
Fatal Shooting Under Investigation In Region Police are investigating a fatal shooting that took place on a street in Western Massachusetts. It happened around 2:35 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 26, when officers received a ShotSpotter activation on the 300 block of Union Street in Springfield. Officers located a man with gunshot wounds who had died from his injuries, said Springfield Police Spokesperson Ryan Walsh. The Springfield Police Homicide Unit is investigating the incident, he added. No additional information has been provided.
