Fairfield County Man Busted With Crack, Gun During Traffic Stop, Police Say A Fairfield County man was busted with an alleged handgun and drugs after being pulled over speeding and using all three lanes of traffic to pass other vehicles. Yan Lee DeJesus, age 21, of Stratford, was arrested on Tuesday, April 27, after Connecticut State Police noticed him driving more than 78 mph in a 40 mph zone on Route 25 and passing other vehicles in all three lanes while flashing his lights at them, said the state police. The incident began just before noon on Tuesday, April 13 in Worcester County, when Trooper Brian Gervais, assigned to the state police Sturbridge unit, was observing traffic on Route 84 eastbound in Sturbridge when he spotted a black Acura sedan with no front license plate, state police said. Trooper Kenneth Dillon, of West Hartford, was arrested on Thursday, Feb. 18, by Canton Police on a warrant for the incident that took place on Tuesday, Feb. 2, said Captain Andrew Schiffer. Man Drove Drunk At More Than Twice Legal Limit In Hudson Valley, Police Say New York State Police arrested a Connecticut man for alleged drunk driving after being stopped for a traffic violation in Rockland County. Samuel Johnson, 32, of Hamden in New Haven County, was arrested around 10:20 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 5, on I-87 in Clarkstown, said state police. One stopped, troopers found that Johnson was intoxicated and performed a blood alcohol test which showed that he was allegedly driving at twice the legal limit at 0.21 percent, state police said.
